Today we learned about John F. Kennedy's presidency. We used a powerpoint and the worksheets "Kennedy's Presidency" and "JFK Conspiracy Theories."

Today we continued our 1950s Character presentations. This is your TEST GRADE for our unit on the 1950s. If you have not handed in any portion of your project- especially your works cited portion- get it into me ASAP!! Also, if you have not presented yet, look for you name on the whiteboard in class for your presentation date (during Intervention this week and next week).

Today we did our 1950s Character Speeches. Those who did not present today will present Tuesday after Spring Break. Folder checks were also due today:
1. Germany/Europe map (white)
2. The Cold War: Arms Race (neon yellow)
3. 1950s: Society and Culture (pink)
4. The Cold War At Home: Terms (purple, 6th period only)
5. U.S. vs. S.U./Cold War Begins (pink)
6. Korean War: Textbook A vs. Textbook B (white)

Wednesday, March 30th, Friday, April 1st, and Tuesday, April 5th
These past few class days we have spent our time preparing our 1950s character speeches. Next class period, students should come prepared with their typed out speech, their notecards (if needed), and their rubrics for the assignment. Also, we will have folder checks. Students may dress up as their character for extra credit.
